Connecticut

Connecticut is among the least restrictive states in the nation. The state has imposed a Constitutional limit on abortion, except in cases of endangerment to the life and/or health (physical or mental) of the woman. Additionally, Connecticut allows certain individuals or entities to refuse to provide women abortions. Connecticut also subjects abortion providers to burdensome restrictions not applied to other medical professionals via Targeted Regulation of Abortion Providers (TRAP) laws.
